Welcome to the Eatery. This a section of my blog where I will document my visits to little places around the beautiful city of Cape Town.
I started off at a very refreshing eatery called Loading Bay.

LOCATION: 30 Hudson Street, De Waterkant, Cape Town

| Their menus came on this large sheet of paper which I thought was very ordinary until I saw Loading Bay embossed in gold at the bottom, which pretty much reflected the feel of the restaurant which was rustic but with an element of elegance. |

| This was a lovely cream cheese spread with sliced salmon and chopped dill and honey mustard which complemented the sandwich beautifully! |

| This was a chicken salad with loads of lovely vegetables. The wonderful thing about this salad is that everything was cut into bite size pieces so there was no fighting with lettuce leaves! From where I was seated the feta smelled amazing! |
MENU | ★★★☆☆
We had access to the Lunch Menu which is served from 12 pm. Their menu consisted of very healthy options, but also burgers that looked amazing as they passed by our table! The have a few vegetarian options which is a plus as well as a drinks menu with delicious drinks which included everything from coffee to smoothies. The prices on the lunch menu ranged from R60 - R90 for food, and around R40 per drink.

Both dishes were extremely good and we were super full after! They brought water to our table as soon as we arrived so we never even bothered with drinks.
WIFI | ★★★☆☆
They offer free wi-fi on request. There were people on their laptops indulging in a cup of coffee, so if you need to work while brunching, this place is perfect for that.
OVERALL | ★★★★☆
The atmosphere at this place was lovely, everyone was chatting and the waitrons were happy and friendly. The restaurant was quite packed when we arrived at lunch time, and the waiting time for our food was about 20 minutes due to the lunch time rush.
